About NORAC

NORAC

In 1974, current C.E.O. Bill Strelioff founded a scale company called Senstek that was based on emerging load cell technology. During the first part of the company's growth the product range consisted of load bars, animal scales, truck scales, and a variety of platform scales. These scales were early entrants into electronic weighing equipment and were able to provide faster and more accurate weights than conventional mechanical scales could.

As the years passed, Senstek changed; it grew in size, location, and product focus. In the early nineties when international expansion was imminent the name changed and, in 1994, Senstek became NORAC Systems International Inc. Many new products were introduced over this period of time; among the more notable achievements were the successful development of a "legal-for-trade" OnBoard™ Weighing System and the introduction of the latest sprayer height control system, the UC4+™ Sprayer Height Control system.

Within North America NORAC has experienced significant growth with a number of leading-edge technologies. This increased demand recently prompted NORAC to enter key international markets in Europe, South America, Asia, and Australia. NORAC is currently developing worldwide sales channels with an established office in France while offering global customer support through a rapidly expanding base of international distributors.

In mid 2007, NORAC witnessed the completion of a brand new facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada that encompasses over 30,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space. All products assembled by NORAC are completed to ISO standards and NORAC's electronics areas are equipped with the latest technology. In addition to the facility's corporate office, a branch office is located in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA that is responsible for sales and service in the United States. An office is also located in France that is responsible for sales and service in Europe.

Between NORAC's three facilities, the company has close to 70 full-time employees. NORAC's exceptional team include experienced professional engineers educated in electrical and mechanical design. With their years of technical expertise, our team is constantly improving and customizing products to better suit our customer's needs and realizing NORAC's mission statement:

"To Improve the Competitiveness of Industry and Agriculture Through Precision Measurement."

Our success is based on the quality of our staff, as well as the level of commitment from and the quality of our distributors and partners.
